Two teenagers charged with drowning two kittens were sentenced Tuesday to 30 days in detention.
Both 16-year-olds admitted to one count of animal cruelty in the June 20 incident.
Family Court Judge William Voy also ordered the teens to remain on probation until their 21st birthdays.
